system of distance education

Much ink has been spilled to describe the system of distance education. It is known several names, such as correspondence education, self study, external study, open learning, open learning, off-campus programs, etc. The distance education situation, students and teachers could be thousands of miles apart, yet meaningful conversation education can occur.
